Thank you for purchasing from Donald Purdey Photography. Every print you order is carefully prepared, packaged, and shipped with precision and care. The goal is simple: for your art to arrive safely, beautifully, and ready to
enjoy.

This shipping policy explains how we handle order processing, delivery times, packaging, tracking, and international
shipping. Please read it before placing your order.

Free Shipping

We’re proud to offer free standard shipping on all orders within the continental United States. No hidden fees or handling charges — the
price you see at checkout is the price you pay.

  • Free shipping applies to unframed and framed prints alike.
  • Expedited shipping (2-day or overnight) is available at checkout for an additional fee.
  • Oversized or bulk orders may require custom shipping arrangements. In those cases, we’ll contact you directly before shipping.

Order Processing Time

Each print is produced to order to ensure the highest quality.

  • Processing time: Typically 5–7 business days before shipment.
  • Custom or framed prints may take up to 10–14 business days depending on production volume.
  • You’ll receive an email with your tracking number as soon as your order ships.

During holidays, sales, or high-demand periods, processing times may extend
slightly. We’ll always communicate delays clearly and provide status
updates.

Packaging and Protection

Photography prints deserve professional handling. Every item is packaged with care to prevent damage:

  • Unframed prints are rolled and shipped in rigid, crush-proof tubes.
  • Framed prints are carefully wrapped in protective foam and packed in reinforced boxes.
  • Limited-edition pieces are handled separately, inspected for quality, and shipped with authentication documents.

If your order includes multiple prints, they may ship separately to ensure proper protection.

Estimated Delivery Times

Once your order ships, transit time depends on location and carrier.

United States

  • Standard Shipping (Free): 3–7 business days
  • Expedited Shipping (Paid): 2–3 business days

International Orders

  • Standard International: 10–21 business days, depending on customs and destination
  • Express International: 5–10 business days (available upon request)

Note:
Delivery time estimates exclude processing and production time.
Weather, customs, or carrier delays are beyond our control.

Tracking and Notifications

When your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with:

  • Your tracking number
  • Carrier name (UPS, USPS, or FedEx)
  • Estimated delivery window

You can track your shipment directly through the carrier’s website. If you do not receive tracking details within 7 business days of your order, email [Enter Email] for an update.

Lost or Delayed Packages

Here’s the thing — once a package leaves our studio, we rely on carriers to do their part. If your order appears lost or delayed:

  1. Check your tracking number for updates.
  2. Contact the carrier to confirm status.
  3. If the carrier cannot locate your package, reach out to us at [Enter Email] with your order number.

We’ll
investigate and work with the carrier to resolve the issue. If your
package is confirmed lost, we’ll replace or refund your order promptly.

Damaged Shipments

We take shipping quality seriously, but if your print arrives damaged:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery.
  • Include photos of the damaged packaging and print.
  • Keep all original packaging until the issue is resolved.

We’ll arrange a replacement at no cost or issue a refund if the print cannot be replaced (especially for limited editions).

International Shipping

We proudly ship worldwide. Please note the following:

  • International customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, or import fees.
  • Customs processing may delay delivery times.
  • Some regions may have carrier restrictions or longer transit times.

We’ll provide all necessary documentation to help your shipment clear customs smoothly, but we cannot control or predict local import fees.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Please double-check your address before submitting your order. We ship to the exact address provided during checkout.

If a package is returned to us due to incorrect or incomplete information, additional shipping charges may apply to resend it.

Split Shipments

If you ordered multiple items, they may ship separately based on size, framing type, or availability. You’ll receive a separate tracking number for each shipment.

Delivery Confirmation

All shipments include delivery confirmation. For higher-value orders, a signature may be required upon delivery. If you are not available to sign, the carrier will leave a delivery notice or attempt re-delivery.

Weather and Seasonal Delays

Extreme weather, natural events, or carrier backlogs may affect transit times. We’ll keep you informed if we expect significant delays.

Returns and Exchanges

Shipping is closely tied to our refund policy.

  • We cover return shipping costs for damaged or defective items.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping if the return is due to personal preference or non-damage reasons.
